No One Likes You Naked

Samsara, Projection, and Self-Saving

Quick Note

Tell me wich version you like

This is something came up in my mind after listening to a wonderful speech by a scientist in robe.

After writing the original version, I thought of using AI’s generative capabilities to enhance it. I have completely proof read each version. I want to know which one you liked the most. Version 1 (original writing), Version 2 (GPT) and Version 3 (GPT).

No one likes you Naked

(version 1, Original)

Take me Naked
As who am I,
but nah!
No one likes you Naked
Everyone loves the made up projection
That they like
That they call “you”
To see from you
Being emitted from you
so they see the version of “you”
they liked, they praised,
they wanted and loved

So,
You chase after a projection
A mental image
A concept
A mirage
Like a dear
Who chase after water
In a desert
Closer you get,
It disappear
Making you work in wane
To make it appear

So,
You do your best to keep that projection
That others like
That others call “you”
To see from you
Being emitted

While nature is in its full force trying to
Restore You, the natures way
The way of chaos, which is
Against You, against the projection
You think is right and who you should be
To the chaos that nature naturally be
While you battle up hill against
Natures forces making you suffer
Calling this battle is
Unfair
Unethical
Unruly
Unsatisfactory
while ignoring the bigger War of Samsara,
The rebirth of “You” for just another battle
As you have wished in the death bed of
Last lost battle you fought against natures chaos
While emitting pains, aches, moans and sighs
Questioning why am I to be suffer like this?
Yet, forgetting, no one liked you naked,
The way you are, who you naturally are.

So, be Naked
Be who you are
Fight this battle to save “you”
Not to be in favor of another
Where you have lost uncountable times
Suffered unimaginable pains
Wished if you could quit. No, its not allowed.

No one loves you naked

Version 2 (Chat GPT polished)

They love the costume,
the careful arrangement of gestures,
the mask they recognize
and name “you.”

What they see is not you—
but what reflects back
from their wanting.

So you run after a reflection,
a mirage,
like a deer chasing water
that vanishes at every step.

Yet unlike the deer,
you work tirelessly
to maintain the illusion—
polishing the image,
protecting the version
others approve,
emitting what they expect
to receive.

All the while, nature moves
in the opposite direction—
undoing, loosening, returning.
Trying to restore you
to what cannot be owned,
cannot be shaped,
cannot perform.

You call this resistance
unfair,
unethical,
unruly,
unsatisfactory
while missing the greater war:
samsāra itself,
rebirth after rebirth,
another costume,
another losing battle.

On the final bed of each defeat
you ask,
Why must I suffer like this?
Forgetting—
no one loved you naked.

So be naked.
Not to please,
not to rebel,
but to be free.

Fight not to preserve the image,
but to end the cycle.
You have lost this war
countless times already.

This time,
lay down the mask.

No one loves you naked

Version 3 (Chat GPT polished)

They like what you emit—
the polished signals,
the arranged responses,
the made-up projection
they call “you.”

What they love is not you,
but what is emitted from you
in a shape they can consume.

So you chase that projection—
a mirage,
like a deer running toward water
that keeps retreating
into heat and dust.

But you are not only chasing.
You are maintaining.
Repairing.
Emitting—again and again—
the version others prefer,
the version they name,
the version they reward.

Because no one likes you naked.

Meanwhile, nature is not impressed.
Nature moves in chaos,
in decay, in undoing.
It pushes, erodes, dismantles—
trying to return you
to what cannot be held together.

And you resist.
You fight uphill
against nature’s force,
calling the struggle
unfair, unethical, unruly, unsatisfactory—
while ignoring the larger war:

Samsāra.
The endless rebirth
of another you
for another performance,
another emission,
another loss.

On each final bed of defeat
you ask,
Why must I suffer like this?
Moaning, aching, emitting pain—
forgetting again:

No one likes you naked.

So be naked.
Not to be liked.
Not to be seen.
But to be saved.

Save you
not the projection,
not what is emitted for approval,
not the version others consume.

You have fought for them
and lost uncountable times.

This time,
fight to end the fight.

The Naked Ghost

Version 4 (Gemini polished)

Take me naked, As I am. But you prefer The hollow man. The ghost you made, The mask you chose, The painted saint In borrowed clothes.

You chase the light, A desert gleam. A thirsty deer Within a dream. The more you run, The more it fades; A life consumed In mental shades.

You strain to hold The image true, To be the “him,” To be the “you.” But nature comes To break the mold, With chaotic hands, And truth untold.

You call it cruel, You call it grief, This falling of The autumn leaf. You fight the hill, You curse the rain, And build a soul From bricks of pain.

On death’s cold bed, You cry for breath. You birth a “self” To challenge death. One more battle, One more “I,” A brand new wish To never die.

So drop the shield, And shed the skin. The war is lost Before you win. Be naked now, Unbound and free; Release the “you” To finally be.

Nuwan Hettiarachchi

I bring strong experience in data analytics and data engineering, with a focus on SQL-driven data preparation, data quality, and scalable processing pipelines. My background includes working with large, complex datasets, supporting business intelligence, and applying data governance principles such as profiling, lineage, and documentation. I am known for collaborating effectively across teams to design clear, reliable data solutions that support informed decision-making.

My Story

From Curiosity to Craft: My Journey in Technology and Analytics

My name is Nuwan Hettiarachchi, and my journey has been guided by curiosity, service, and a strong belief in using technology to create meaningful impact.

I began my professional path working closely with data, systems, and people. Early on, I realized that I enjoyed solving practical problems—especially those where analytical thinking and real-world needs intersect. This led me into data analytics, automation, and software development, where I’ve spent years building tools that improve accuracy, efficiency, and decision-making.

A defining part of my journey has been 10 years of volunteer teaching at a charitable organization. Teaching reinforced my belief that knowledge is most powerful when shared. It strengthened my communication skills, patience, and ability to break down complex ideas—skills that continue to shape how I design systems and collaborate with teams today.

Professionally, I’ve worked across data analysis, reporting, and application development. One notable experience was developing a Human Resources appraisal system over two years using Visual Basic and SQL Server, where I translated business rules into reliable, user-friendly software. Projects like this deepened my appreciation for clean data, thoughtful design, and systems that support people—not just processes.

Over time, my work expanded into Python, SQL databases, analytics, and automation, with a growing focus on data integrity and insight-driven solutions. I enjoy building tools that reduce manual effort, surface meaningful patterns, and enable better decisions.

Outside of work, I value balance and mindfulness. I enjoy hiking, traveling, kayaking, and spending time in nature—activities that keep me grounded and curious.

Today, I’m focused on contributing within data science and analytics–driven environments, continuing to learn, mentor, and build solutions that are practical, ethical, and impactful.
